It has been a long time since I have updated :~(

We are all still here, pluggin' away at life.  The kids are growing and they have all been pretty healthy!  Dominic and Jayden are doing well with homeschooling, their grades are excellent anyway!  They are both preparing for their music recital, Dominic with Guitar and Jayden with piano as well as a Karate Tournament in a few weeks.  Dominic's baby's arrived in April, 1 day old chicks, 25 laying hens they will be!  He lost 2 of them right away so he was really hard on himself about that.  The chickens are his, he has paid for them with his own money and he takes care of them completely.  He hope's when they start to lay eggs that he is able to sell the eggs, of course with all the baking I do I will be a regular customer for those good farm fresh eggs!  The chickens as well as the entire farm is one huge learning experiment after another, I am so greatful for the classroom they have!

Jayden celebrated his 1st Communion in April too, we are very proud of him as he grows in his faith and becomes closer to God!
Keegan is enjoying his friends at preschool and the baby, "baby Khail" is now 1!  Khail is walking all over and HATES to be in doors.  When I have to school that is hard, so thank goodness for the farm and Papa!

Khail had and has been showing signs of an ear infection for a long time, so we made sure with an ENT doc that all was well.  While waiting for a long time in the waiting room, Khail started to bang his head on the window case, the nurse of course saw that.  After all was said and done, his ears were perfect, hearing and all!  The Dr. didn't say "I think he has", but thought that Khail should be evaluated for Autism because well the nurse saw him bang his head on the window case and he displayed no other signs of ear problems, so maybe we should blame his behavior on some other disorder.

I am so irritated in the fact that some are so quick to want to slap a "label" on a kid, because it would just be easier.  When can a kid just be a kid and what is defined exactly as a "normal" child.  Of course my heart sank and I called my doctor and she doesn't think so, but this will be something we'll watch because you never know.  I took a class one time and I had learned that we, American's, are the ONLY country in the entire world that medicates our children for ADD and ADHD, no other country drugs their children for this because they say that it is not a child's problem it is more of an adult problem in that adults now a days don't want to and can't handle their children.  And so it's easier to pop your kid a "chill pill".  I'm not saying it's wrong or that it's right, to each his own as you as a parent can be the only one to make that decision for YOUR child.  Year's ago kids didn't have all these things, so why all of the sudden now is this a booming trend, hmmm.

Khail doesn't have anything wrong with him, but boredom of sitting in a waiting room with nothing to do for too long.  He doesn't want to sit patiently in a waiting room, he wants to run and be free, he wants to make noise and be a boy, like little boys should be!

How are we doing, Josh is busy with work and as the boys get older, games and outdoor activities are more fun with the boys!  For me, I think this 4th year has hit me with a tiredness in life that I just can't explain, grief is quite a journey, it's not easy.

Okay, need some prayer, have some projects in the works, CROSSING my fingers it all happens!

On another note, July 21st is our 5th Annual HOPE Run!  So please keep watching for details to come!  Last year we celebrated Isaac's Birthday by raising enough money, $1,000 sponsorship for the HOPE Run so that we could tell Isaac "Happy 6th Birthday" on the back of the HOPE Run shirts, it was a perfect way for us to wish him a Happy Birthday and still contribute in his honor money towards research!  A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone that was a part of wishing Isaac a Happy 6th Birthday, I think I slacked with having the new baby that my thank you's may not have made it out, I'm not very good about things like that and I apologize, but please know you are so appreciated in our hearts!  This year we'd again like to raise enough money so that we can wish Isaac a "Happy 7th Birthday"!

If you would like to help us with our Birthday gift to Isaac this year please send your donation to:
